Healing the Heart of America
A Historical Perspective
After the November election, my son Gabriel urged me to do anything I could to heal the divisions and mistrust – political and spiritual – that are plaguing our nation’s discourse. That was the inspiration behind this “Healing the Heart of America” event. We are coming together as a community to reflect on our nation’s history and what we can learn from it, and celebrate the things that unite us – faith in Divine guidance, family, and compassion for others.
Please join me, local Cary author and historian Ron Pappalardo for an inspiring program of stories and music from our nation's past.
Join as a community to pray for our nation's future, to heal the divides between us and accept all faiths as different pathways to the same destination -- God. Let's rejoice and celebrate the connection between us.
Although this is a family friendly event, we regretfully must ask that small children be left home. We have only a limited capacity at the venue.
